Imagine standing in a room where Sia is singing Chandelier on the runway in front of tornado of flowers cascading to the floor with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. It seems to me like the perfect place for Christian Siriano’s fantasy ballet Spring 2024 collection to come to life. Christian’s newest collection dances on the edge of ballet’s light and dark side. Am I the only one who was hoping Sia would swing from the chandelier?

This collection is giving me major Black Swan vibes. The pretty traditional pink ballerina vs the dark fierce ballerina. It speaks to me. Some of the nicest things can be quite dark… and some of the darkest things can be quite nice. I find there needs to be a balance in life. When a ballerina throws one leg into the air and stands on only the point of her ballet shoe, it’s one of the most striking things. All of that power and strength is combined with such elegance. While I love pretty pink things, sometimes you need a little bit of darkness. Hence, the tornado of flowers.

Nothing can stop Sia with her ray of sunshine pink and purple ombré gown. Even as she stands surrounded by a tornado of flowers, it can’t knock her down. With matching hair and big bow to top it off, it’s the cherry on top.

Remember Sia’s iconic Chandelier music video? This particular collection felt like an ode to Sia’s Chandelier music video, back in 2014. A young dancing in a chaotic and jarring way having us all sit on the edge of our seats – expressing the struggle. Perhaps this ballet collection expresses the contrast, the struggle.

Looks like both Avril Lavigne and Kesha dressed up in all black, joining the dark side of ballet.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how they’re all sitting under a chandelier?! Where’s Sia?!

Celebrities like Janet Jackson, Avril Lavigne, Kesha, Laverne Cox, Quinta Brunson, Sarah Hyland, Padma Lakshmi, Rosie Perez and Alicia Silverstone all attended to support Christian Siriano’s 15th year anniversary.
